Special Weather Statement issued March 12 at 10:37AM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC
...EXPANDED TO INCLUDE ALL OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA...
Relative humidity is expected to decrease to the 15 to 25 percent
range across the western North Carolina and northeast Georgia by
this afternoon and early evening. Winds will increase during the
afternoon hours, with occasional gusts to around 15 to 20 mph. This
will combine with dry vegetation to increase the potential for
the start and spread of wildfires across the area.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside, use
extreme caution.

NWS Fort Worth TX
Red Flag Warning issued March 12 at 9:47AM CDT until March 12 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX
* AFFECTED AREA...All areas along and west of US-281, as well as
Coryell and Bell Counties.
* TIMING... From noon to 8 PM CDT this evening.
* WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...83 to 90 degrees.
* IMPACTS...Rapid spread of wildfires is possible due to strong
westerly winds and low humidity.
A Red Flag Warning means that extreme fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and dry vegetation can contribute
to extreme fire behavior. Avoid all outside burning and welding
today. Do not toss lit cigarette butts outside. Report wild fires
to the nearest fire department or law enforcement office.
