thunderstorms extending from 7 miles southwest of Crandon to 6 miles
south of Pearson, or extending from 7 miles southwest of Crandon to
12 miles northeast of Antigo, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
The strong thunderstorm will be near...
Ma Ka Ja Wan Scout Reservation and Pearson around 720 AM CDT.
Crandon and Woodlawn around 730 AM CDT.
North Otter Creek Natural Area around 740 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include

- At 527 AM PDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
I-580 near Albany. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding reported along I-580 near Albany.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO EXTREMELY STRONG WINDS
AND VERY LOW HUMIDITY...
.Although temperatures will fall a few to around 10 degrees below
30-year averages on the eastern plains today, humidities will
again fall near and below 18 percent, and damaging west and
northwest winds peak around 60 to 80 mph. The strongest winds
will occur during the morning and through mid afternoon, then
speeds will weaken during late afternoon and early evening.
* AREA AND TIMING...This includes the Northeast and East Central
Plains (Zones 104 and 126) today between noon and 8 PM.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...On Friday, west winds of 35 to 50 mph with gusts
up to 80 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum humidity values between 11 and 18
percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly
and will be hard to control. Long range spotting and extreme
fire behavior will be possible. Outdoor burning should not be
done.
Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this Red Flag Warning.

Special Weather Statement issued March 14 at 7:59AM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI
At 759 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 14 miles northwest of Willow Lake to
over Popple River, or extending from 38 miles northwest of
Rhinelander to 18 miles northeast of Crandon, moving northeast at 35
mph.
HAZARD...Half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
The strong thunderstorm will be near...
Rhinelander, Woodboro, Crandon, Willow Reservoir, North Otter
Creek Natural Area, Willow Lake and Harrison around 800 AM CDT.
Squirrel Lake and Newbold around 805 AM CDT.
Popple River and Crystal Lake Scout Reservation around 810 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include
Tomahawk River Pines Natural Area, Enterprise, Argonne, Harshaw,
Goodnow, Newald, Crescent Corner, Pelican Lake, Kelly Lynn Bog
Natural Area and Lennox.
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
