IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. If caught on
the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you

a line extending from Selbyville to 7 miles southeast of Pocomoke
City. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
possible.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Newark, Ocean Pines, Cape Isle Of Wight, and Berlin around 1220 AM
EDT.
Ocean City around 1230 AM EDT.

* WHERE...Elk Creek near Drain.
* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Widespread flooding of low lands and
structures at this stage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 19.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 PM PDT Sunday was 19.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river peaked around 19.6 feet earlier and will
fall below flood stage Monday morning.

extending from near Kilmarnock to Blakes to Seaford, moving east at
65 mph.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.
These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
Gloucester, southwestern Middlesex, northwestern Mathews and south
central Lancaster Counties, including the following locations...
Beulah, Senora, Glass, Naxera, Harmony Village, Bertrand, Grafton,
Harcum, Cash, and Millenbeck.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

At 1258 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Saint Inigoes Creek to 12 miles northeast of
Deltaville to 6 miles north of Grand View, moving northeast at 60
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.
These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Middlesex, southeastern Northumberland, eastern Mathews
and eastern Lancaster Counties, including the following locations...
Byrdton, Diggs, Ruff, Moon, Regina, Peary, Laban, Hudgins, Brook
Vale, and Reedville.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
