If travel is absolutely necessary, take a winter storm kit along
with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables,
flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a
first aid kit, required medications, and anything else that would
help you survive in case you become stranded. If you become
stranded, stay with your vehicle and wait for help to arrive.

NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
Red Flag Warning issued March 19 at 1:16AM CDT until March 19 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
...GUSTY WINDS AND VERY DRY AIR WILL RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS FROM EARLY THIS MORNING THROUGH EVENING...
.A Pacific front will quickly advance across the region early to
mid-morning. Strong northwesterly winds and very dry air in its
wake will bring critical fire weather conditions to all of South
Central Texas. Sustained winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 30
to 45 mph will coincide with minimum relative humidity values of
5 to 18 percent and dry to extremely dry fuels.
* AFFECTED AREA...All of South-Central Texas.
* TIMING...From 5 AM early this morning to 9 PM CDT this evening.
* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 30 to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 15 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Mid 70s to low to mid 80s.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will rapidly increase in size
and intensity, move quickly, and be very difficult to control.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

NWS Goodland KS
Blizzard Warning issued March 19 at 12:19AM MDT until March 19 at 12:00PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between
2 and 4 inches. Locations east of Highway 25 could see an
additional 4 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, northwest
and west central Kansas, and southwest Nebraska.
* WHEN...Until noon MDT /1 PM CDT/ today.
* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Whiteout
conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and
potentially life-threatening. Visibilities will drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Plan on slippery road
conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations.
Allow extra time if you must travel. Keep a flashlight, food, and
water in your vehicle in case of emergency.
Travel on Interstate 70 could become dangerous or impossible due to
falling or blowing and drifting snow and poor visibility. Whiteout
conditions often lead to disorientation, resulting in a
life-threatening situation. Do not travel unless it is absolutely
necessary.
Severe winter weather conditions are either occurring or imminent
which will produce extreme hardship or loss of life for unprotected
livestock.

NWS Mount Holly NJ
Special Weather Statement issued March 19 at 2:34AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
There is an increased risk for rapid fire spread this afternoon
across portions of eastern Pennsylvania. Minimum relative humidity
values will be between 20 and 30 percent combined with south-
southeast winds near 10 mph and gusts of 15 to 20 mph. High
temperatures this afternoon will range from the low 60s to near
70. These conditions along with the continued drying of fine fuels
could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which
could quickly become difficult to control.
Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Be sure to properly
extinguish or dispose of any potential ignition sources, including
smoking materials such as cigarette butts.
